Update: 16th May, 2005 : International Oil Spill Conference

Unfortunately, Rean Monfils, from Sea Australia was unable to attend the International Oil Spill Conference in Miami, Florida this week.  However, Rean's paper, entitled "The Global Risk of Marine Pollution from WWII Shipwrecks: Examples from the Seven Seas" was accepted by the conference organizers and can now be downloaded in PDF format.

APEC Integrated Oceans Management: Easter Island: October 2004

Rean Monfils was invited to attend the APEC Integrated Oceans Management Forum in Easter Island, October 2004.  The focus of her attendance was to highlight the risks to the marine environment and trade from Sunken WWII shipwrecks.  The presentation; entitled "Sunken WWII Shipwrecks: Risks to the marine environment and trade in the Asia-Pacific region" can be seen here.
